Illuminated subjects on a dark background created a particularly expressive atmosphere. I’ve portrayed the great Maestro Daniel Barenboim in this style and other dignitaries. I mainly worked commercially for a private international clientele. The family portrait “untitled” of a single mother received an honorable mention from the Lucy foundation in New York.
